LED Dimmable Driver by Armacost Lighting

Armacost Lighting's 60-watt dimmable LED driver delivers outstanding LED dimming performance and architectural-quality brightness control. Although virtually all dimmers will work with this dimmable LED driver, Armacost Lighting recommends Lutron CFL and Leviton illumatech universal dimmers due to their low-end dimming range adjustment. The driver provides smooth, stable, and flicker-free dimming with soft start and desirable fade-on and fade-to-dark performance. When the dimmer is set to full brightness, the LED driver delivers full brightness, with no loss of top-end light output.

The driver is a direct-wire unit and features full safety shut-off protection in case of lighting overload, open circuit, short circuit, over-temperature, or other faults. It will automatically restart after the fault has been corrected. This is a listed Class 2 power unit for safety and has Class II AC inputs, a fully isolated case, and no ground wire is required. The driver is listed for use in dry and damp locations.

To work properly, the LED lighting must operate on 12-volt DC power and be able to be dimmed. This driver works well with all 12V DC LED tape lighting. For other types of LED lighting, the manufacturer should be contacted to confirm that the lighting is dimmable and operates on 12-volt DC power.

The 60-watt dimmable LED driver provides smooth, full-range, flicker-free dimming for 12-volt LED lighting such as LED strips, modules, light bars, puck, and other LED accent lights. It is compatible with both 120-volt AC dimmers and lighting controls, as well as low-voltage DC dimmers and controls.

The driver allows for connecting up to 100% of the rated 60-watt maximum load, with no derating performance required. The Class 2 power supply features overload protection and automatic shut-off. There is no minimum power load, and dimming works equally well whether powering a single 3-watt LED puck light, 60 watts of tape lighting, or a combination of both.
