Gorilla® Max Strength Mounting Tape is our strongest mounting tape, featuring a mesh-reinforced layer that makes it 1.5 times stronger than our Heavy Duty Mounting Tape. This tape provides an instant, permanent bond capable of holding up to 3 pounds per 4 inches of tape. Designed for indoor projects, Gorilla Max Strength Mounting Tape adheres securely to a variety of surfaces, including painted walls, mirrors, plastics*, metal, wood, glass, and ceramics.

The reinforced strength of this tape is achieved through the inclusion of an extra mesh layer, making it our most robust mounting tape yet. It can hold up to 45 lbs* when using 4 inches of tape per 3 pounds of weight.

Gorilla Max Strength Mounting Tape is ideal for use on painted surfaces, allowing for a wide range of indoor project applications. The double-sided tape is coated with adhesive on both sides, enabling easy hanging and providing a strong, permanent bond to smooth and rough surfaces alike.

The instant hold of this tape delivers a fast, permanent bond. To ensure optimal performance, the surfaces must be flat, dry, and free of dirt and oil. Clean the surfaces with isopropyl alcohol as per the manufacturer's instructions before application.

When applying the tape, position it vertically on the back of the object, ensuring an even distribution of weight. Avoid touching the surface of the tape. The tape can be torn by hand or cut, and then pressed firmly to the object for 60 seconds to allow the Gorilla Mounting Tape to conform to the surface and create a strong, permanent bond.

Please note that the weight-bearing capacity may vary depending on the surface texture, porosity, and flatness. Both surfaces must be completely flat to ensure full contact with the adhesive. Additionally, this tape is not recommended for use on wallpaper, delicate surfaces, polyethylene and polypropylene plastics, or other non-stick surfaces.**

For best results, use the tape when the temperature is above 50°F. The in-use temperature range is -40°F to 248°F.
